She earned a Postgraduate Diploma in Vocal Performance from the Royal College of Music and an MSc in Cognitive & Decision Sciences from University College London. Héctor holds a BS from the University of Puerto Rico and a PhD in Neuroscience from UT Southwestern Medical Center. After completing his postdoctoral fellowship at MIT, he returned to Puerto Rico with a commitment to fostering education and applying neuroscience-based approaches to improve student performance at all levels.
