Originally from the great state of Maine and a graduate of Dartmouth College, Abby has spent the last 7 years teaching and consulting in schools across the country. Her passion for instruction and innovative practices have earned her Teacher of the Year awards and have been featured on George Lucas’ educational website, Edutopia. Most recently, Abby worked for an education non-profit in Georgia to innovate schools in Florida, California, Nebraska, Missouri, Alabama, and North Carolina. She worked closely with school principals to train their teachers in innovative instructional techniques. This passion for instruction brought Abby back to New England to pursue her Master’s at the Harvard Graduate School of Education.

Abby is excited to be joining the Cambridge Coaching team for the opportunity to work with students while she is away from the classroom. She has experience teaching and tutoring students with a variety of profiles including students with special needs and gifted students. Her facility with lots of different instructional techniques and her experience designing curriculum equip her to meet the needs of all learners.

Outside of her studies, Abby enjoys running, attending theater performances, and playing pub trivia with friends.
