Adam is a recovering astrophysicist whose interests now lie at the intersection of materials science and computation. He holds a BA in Physics from Washington University in St. Louis (2013) and PhD in Physics from MIT (2024). Adam has worked as an engineer and data scientist and has accumulated more than 400 hours of tutoring experience.

Adam is a general purpose nerd; he loves to learn a good new word and reads about both science and history in his free time. His favorite things to teach are math and physics (with special soft spots for statistical mechanics and multivariable calculus), but he has a wealth of experience with the SAT, ACT, PSAT, SSAT, and GRE as well. Adam truly loves working with students and prides himself on his ability to explain complex ideas in accessible language.

While he isn’t tutoring, Adam can be found tending to his tropical aquarium, dragging his friends to karaoke night, or telling his dog Lulu that she is a perfect angel (except for her behavior).
