Aida is originally from Isfahan, Iran, but moved to Chicago at the age of 12 with her family. She has lived in multiple cities and countries, and really enjoys immersing herself into new environments and cultures. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Hamilton College with a B.A. in Chemistry and Hispanic Studies. She received many recognitions in both of her majors, including invitations to Phi Beta Kappa and Phi Sigma Iota societies, Chemistry Awards from American Chemical Society, and scholarships for studying abroad in Madrid, Spain.
Aida really enjoys the sciences and languages and therefore she has chosen to pursue a degree in dentistry at Harvard School of Dental Medicine. Aida gained tutoring experience starting from high school, where she tutored at Kumon Math and Reading Center. She further pursued her passion of teaching at Hamilton, where she worked for the Quantitative and Symbolic Reasoning Center (QSR) and Language Center to help her peers in chemistry and teach Spanish to her peers. She loves helping her students understand the fundamentals of the topic at hand and help them better grasp the material. She has worked with all age groups and modifies the material to cater to all of her students’ needs. Furthermore, she likes having an active session, where the student is always engaged and ready to discuss the material.
In her free time, Aida loves to explore Boston and is always looking for a fresh cup of coffee. She also likes running long distances and enjoying the beautiful scenery of Boston.
