Alex earned his BA in Biological Basis of Behavior with minors in Chemistry and Healthcare Management at the University of Pennsylvania. He went straight from undergrad into medical school, where he is now wrapping up an MD at Harvard Medical School. He's interested in entering orthopedic surgery after graduating from medical school, and hopes to incorporate some sort of global surgery into his career given his Egyptian background.
Alex found college to be an incredible opportunity to develop as a person rather than just as a medical school applicant, and he deeply believes in the power of mentorship during this critical time. Beyond college academics and medical applicant support, Alex also enjoys supporting students through test prep (MCAT, USMLE, ACT) and medical school coursework like physiology and anatomy.
Alex's hobbies include playing basketball, working out at the gym, and playing piano. He learned to fly planes during the summer after graduating undergrad!
