Alex attended the University of Michigan, where he majored in statistics, and is currently a PhD Candidate in Biostatistics at Harvard University. Alex has worked at both Novartis and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center applying statistics to clinical trials. His PhD thesis research develops novel methods for analyzing datasets that account for missing data.
As an undergrad, Alex served as a statistics tutor for students taking undergraduate courses. Now at Harvard, he serves as a teaching assistant for a variety of Master’s level statistics courses. At Cambridge Coaching, Alex tutors students of all ages in mathematics and statistics.
Outside of statistics, Alex enjoys playing soccer, cooking Mexican food, and traveling. He has visited 21 countries and has had the opportunity to live and/or work in Germany, Switzerland, and Ghana
