Alice is a medical student in the Health Sciences and Technology program at Harvard Medical school. She grew up in San Diego, CA and studied materials science & engineering at Stanford University for her undergraduate degree.
During high school, Alice worked with refugee students from Myanmar, helping them with their coursework and with acclimation to life in their new communities. This fostered her love for teaching and for supporting others in whatever capacity they need. She was a peer-tutor at Stanford for the undergraduate chemistry courses and had the opportunity to work with many students as they transitioned from high school to college. Alice enjoys helping students overcome academic challenges in ways that suit their individual learning styles and goals. She deeply enjoys working with students who are studying for the MCAT, SAT, or are taking premedical classes, and looks forward to learning from her students as part of the process. She understands that developing learning plans and content review methods that are effective for her students is key when it comes to standardized test prep and hard science courses.
In her free time, Alice enjoys drawing and painting, yoga, and being outdoors. She looks forward to spring in Boston and exploring all that the east coast has to offer!
