Andrea was born in the middle of the Atacama Dessert in Iquique, Chile to a Chilean mother and British father. But she grew up mainly in the outskirts of New York City and spoke Spanish and English at home.
Over the past few years, Andrea has mentored and coached 30+ students in the process of MBA applications and is passionate about helping others tell their story most effectively. Through this process, she helped students craft application narratives and prepare materials for recommendation letters and letters of support.
Most recently, Andrea completed a dual degree at The Wharton School (MBA) and the Lauder Institute (MA in International Studies) and focused her studies on Latin American entrepreneurship. Before that, Andrea had five years of experience in strategy consulting at McKinsey, Mercer, and Towers Watson. Prior to that, Andrea attended Cornell University and completed an accelerated dual-degree program, where she earned a B.S. and Masters in Public Administration in four years.
In her spare time, you can usually find Andrea traveling, doing bike tours and zumba classes, and desperately trying to learn how to cook for herself.
