Raised on an Upstate New York street named after the 8th President of the United States, Andy is a lover of all things politics, foreign policy, and verbal reasoning-related. He graduated from Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government with a Master’s in Public Policy, focusing his research on Russian information operations in Eastern Europe. He also graduated magna cum laude with a degree in International Relations and Journalism from Syracuse University, and has lived in Beijing, China. He currently works as a cyber risk management consultant to the U.S. Government.
During college, Andy volunteered at a homework help program mentoring at-risk youth in Syracuse, NY. This started a passion for tutoring. He previously tutored clients in Washington, D.C., Boston, and online, unlocking their potential by coaching them to reach higher scores on standardized tests. His core strengths are in Political Science, Government, English, and Writing. At Cambridge Coaching, Andy specializes in tutoring the GRE.
Outside of tutoring, Andy enjoys early morning rowing near the Georgetown waterfront, riding a vintage 1981 Schwinn World Tourist bicycle, and hunting down the best espresso he can find.
