Anna grew up right outside of Boston, where she spent the better part of her childhood obsessed with learning foreign languages. She continued to develop her passion for language while attending Harvard College, and graduated magna cum laude with an BA in linguistics. Anna is currently pursuing a PhD in linguistics at NYU, where she is working on issues of language meaning.
Anna has been tutoring in different capacities for almost 10 years. At Cambridge Coaching, Anna focuses on college admissions support, including SAT preparation, and especially enjoys working with international students on their applications to US colleges and universities. She also tutors academic subjects such as chemistry, math, Japanese, and essay writing.
When she's not studying linguistics or teaching, Anna is most likely making music. She has studied piano and voice over the years, and is now tackling guitar and ukulele in her spare time.
