Anna S.


Anna is a Harvard-educated linguist and historian and has taught Humanities at Boston College, Brown, Phillips Andover, Harvard, and MIT. She has tutored privately
for many years. While in college, Anna tutored middle-schoolers in remedial English and composition. After entering a graduate program in the US, Anna worked as a TA/TF for large undergraduate courses in the Core humanities curriculum and also continued to teach privately. Anna worked closely with high school students in composition, developing a one-day preparation program, after which students would leave with a college application essay. During her years as a college teacher, Anna enthusiastically worked with numerous freshmen and sophomores who came to college eager to learn, yet unprepared for its demanding written assignments.
