Bio

Archana is originally from Cupertino, California but spent most of her childhood in Hyderabad and Delhi, where she grew up speaking English, Telugu, and Hindi. She attended Cornell University, where she majored in Neurobiology and Behavior and graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa. At Cornell, she studied neural circuits in birds and mice, built a fiber-optic imaging system, and was named a Rawlings Presidential Research Scholar and a Goldwater Scholar. Before transitioning to medicine, she worked at Neuralink, Elon Musk’s brain-machine interface company. She is currently pursuing an MD in the Harvard-MIT Health Sciences and Technology (HST) Program.

Archana has been working with students of all backgrounds for over seven years. She has tutored undergraduate students in organic chemistry, genetics, neuroscience, physics, and writing, and has worked extensively with elementary and high students with learning disabilities. As a Biology Student Advisor and the president of Cornell’s Pre-Health Advising group, she has worked closely with Cornell administration to mentor pre-health and biology students at all stages in the medical school admissions process. At Cambridge Coaching, Archana specializes in helping students with all aspects of the medical school application process including their MCAT test preparation.

In her spare time, Archana loves to draw, learn languages, and dabble in fashion. You might spot her bright purple hair if you’re around Longwood.
