Arjun has a PhD in Economics from Georgia State University, specializing in Econometrics and Microeconomics, and holds a Certificate of Mastery in Online Teaching. His love for economics stems from the observation that all of us use economic tools to make everyday decisions: from simple decisions, such as the cost-benefit of having an extra slice of pizza, to more important decisions, such as choosing a college major or new job, economic tools are widely and frequently used. Arjun has always been passionate about teaching economics and believes that teaching is about inspiring and leading individuals to achieve their goals.
Arjun has worked with a range of students in varying stages of their academic careers. Having taught microeconomics, econometrics, and macroeconomics to undergraduate and honors students, he helps students gain confidence and succeed by breaking down and simplifying complex concepts via real-world examples. He encourages his students to exercise freedom of thought, respect and analyze diverse ideas, and make mistakes, as mistakes are a valuable stepping-stone to learning.
In his free time, Arjun likes to swim, hike, and run with his dog.
