Bella G.

Bella, a beach girl at heart, is originally from the beautiful, but landlocked, city of Denver. Now a student at Yale Law in New Haven, she is much closer to the nearest coast, but tragically just as far away from her dream of warm weather year-round. Before entering law school, Bella attended George Washington University where she graduated with a BA in International Affairs and a concentration in conflict resolution. Bella has held internships with the US Supreme Court, the Obama Foundation, and, most recently, the Legal Aid Society.

Bella has 8 years of tutoring experience and has worked with a broad range of clients, including ESL elementary school students, incarcerated people working towards their GED, college students preparing for graduate examinations, and more. Having raised her own LSAT score to a 178 (the 99.9th percentile) through self-studying, Bella has an excellent understanding of how to help students break through a score plateau to reach their goal. She is particularly passionate about teaching test-taking strategies and instilling students with the confidence to reach their full scoring potential on the SAT, ACT, or LSAT.  Bella also loves working with students going through the college and graduate application process by providing hands-on coaching to develop a compelling and cohesive application package.

When she’s not studying, you can find Bella trying out local coffee shops, playing board games with her at times overly competitive friends, or at the closest beach.
