Beth grew up just outside of New York City in Stamford, Connecticut. She followed her passion for languages and literature to Middlebury College in Vermont, where she graduated magna cum laude with a BA in English and American Literatures and Italian. After graduating, she worked in digital marketing and communications management for organizations ranging from small businesses and nonprofits to startups. Beth is currently a student at Columbia Business School, where she is pursuing an MBA with a focus on Technology and Strategy. After graduating, Beth is looking forward to joining the technology industry in a strategic consulting function.
Beth has a long history of formal and informal mentoring and tutoring, starting in elementary school when her classmates turned to her for help with math and reading assignments. In college, she worked in the Center for Teaching, Writing and Learning for four years, meeting one-on-one with other students to help them improve their writing and critical analysis skills. Since graduating, she has served as a career coach and mentor for students and young professional alumni from Middlebury and through the Forte Network. At Cambridge Coaching, Beth prepares students for standardized tests including the GMAT and SAT, and helps hone students' applications for college and MBA programs.
In her free time, Beth enjoys exploring the United States National Parks system, practicing meditation and Bikram yoga, and swimming in natural bodies of water.
