Originally from Kunming, China, Bowen has been living in the Boston area for more than 10 years. He loves this historic and bustling city, even though he continues to be an avid hater of the weather. In 2022, he graduated from Harvard University, magna cum laude, with a joint degree in computer science and statistics. Currently, he works as a researcher in artificial intelligence for healthcare. He has worked on many large-scale projects and has published in several high impact journals and conferences. Bowen will start a PhD at Stanford in 2024.
Bowen has been tutoring since high school, initially tutoring a variety of subjects for high school students of mostly immigrant backgrounds. In college, he worked as course assistant for two math classes - he deeply enjoyed teaching undergraduate students. His specialities with Cambridge Coaching include computer science, math, and science. He also enjoys mentoring students who are curious about pursuing research, especially in the field of computer science.
Outside of work and academics, Bowen loves going on walks, visiting used bookstores, and exploring parts of Boston.
