Caitlin B.

Cait was born and raised in Philadelphia, the city of brotherly love. After attending events on Penn's campus and at the Kelly Writers House throughout her childhood, her dream of receiving a Penn education became a reality when she studied for and received her Bachelor's degree in Biological Basis of Behavior and Hispanic Studies from the University of Pennsylvania. Starting with her time at Penn, Cait became an avid traveler and saw as much as she possibly could of the world through internships and research grants. She studied abroad in Buenos Aires, Argentina and in Madrid, Spain; however, her porteña accent overpowered the madrileña one and to this day she speaks like an Argentine. After graduating from Penn, Cait moved to Argentina to grow her travel startup and immerse herself in the most beautiful city in the world. Since then she has lived in Santiago, Chile and is currently attempting to learn Portuguese while living in São Paulo, Brazil and launching her company there.

Cait has always loved teaching; from the time she was a child she would teach her older brothers the proper way to do things, and review with them the lessons she had learnt in school that day. Prior to her undergraduate education, she attended a college-preparatory high school, where she tutored some of her peers in private sessions in classes that they were taking concurrently. She have always been a fast learner and able to communicate material in a simpler, more transparent way during our private lessons.

Aside from her professional career, Cait enjoys music immensely and always participates in the form of dance when she reunites with her two (more musically-inclined) brothers. She is passionate about mentorship and is always willing to share her experiences and learnings with those who may benefit from it. The only thing Cait regrets about traveling is having to leave behind her feline friend, Oscar Wildecat, in Philadelphia.
