Born in Venezuela, Carlos moved to South Florida at a young age. Carlos graduated from the University of Florida with a BS in chemistry and a BA in economics. Carlos is now a dental student at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine with the intention to proceed in post-graduate studies specializing in orthodontics.
While at UF, Carlos was a teaching assistant for the economics department, where he tutored for introductory micro and macroeconomics for three years. Aside from working as a TA, he taught at his local Mathnasium, instructing students from preschoolers to high schoolers. In his time as a tutor, Carlos learned how to tailor his teaching to each individual. At Cambridge Coaching, Carlos tutors chemistry and the DAT (he scored in the 99th percentile himself). Carlos enjoys helping others as they embark on their journey into dentistry.
Carlos is fluent in English and Spanish and is an enthusiastic learner of Portuguese. On his bucket-list, Carlos wishes to travel to Brazil and Portugal. In his free time, Carlos enjoys reading about history, drinking coffee, and planning his next trip.
