After a rather nomadic childhood spent in 3 different countries and a handful of different cities, Carrie moved to the East Coast for the first time in 2013 to attend Harvard University. She graduated magna cum laude, majoring in molecular and cellular biology and minoring in social anthropology. After graduation, Carrie spent a year doing medical anthropology work in Guangzhou, China and traveling around Asia. Wanting to combine her interests in the sciences, social sciences, and global health, she is currently pursuing a M.D. at Weill Cornell Medicine.
Carrie has been tutoring for 5 years in different capacities. Carrie specializes in working with the international community, particularly English as a Second Language students. Her main tutoring specialties are M.D. admissions, GRE preparation, and biology.
In her spare time, Carrie enjoys wandering through (and sometimes getting lost in!) all the wonderfully eclectic neighborhoods in New York City. She is also likely to be spotted at one of NYC’s many museums.
