Charles is a native New Yorker, and graduated in 2016 from Columbia University with degrees in psychology and business management. More recently, Charles attained his Master’s of Public Health from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Charles is currently an MD Candidate at Mount Sinai and plans to pursue a residency in emergency medicine. His interests and research span population health, health equity, organizational psychology, medical education, interdisciplinary and interprofessional collaboration, quality improvement, performing arts, global health, and clinical and organizational ethics.
Charles has been a tutor and educator since 2007. His specialities include standardized testing, learning and organizational strategies, and medical school admissions. He has achieved perfect scores on over a dozen AP exams and top percentiles in college and graduate school exams. Charles takes pride in seeing his students gain confidence and pursue their passions.
In his free time, Charles enjoys running, swimming, playing piano and euphonium, and spending time with his friends and family.
