After teaching with Teach For America in the South Bronx, Christophe co-founded Rise Academy, a high-performing Newark charter school featured in The Economist, ABC News, and other media outlets. Recently signed as a screenwriter by Management 360, a leading Hollywood literary talent agency, he is currently developing a scripted television series based on his inner city school experiences. As a writer, he has also ghostwritten and edited several books placed at major publishing houses like Simon & Schuster. In addition, he has developed writing curricula for education companies and schools, and coached students and teachers alike to write effectively, among numerous other projects.
As a writing coach, Christophe guides clients to develop effective medical, business, and law school personal statements, as well as medical school secondary essays and common application personal essays. He is passionate about helping clients find their unique voice, tell insightful personal stories, and discover their innate abilities to write well. He holds Master’s degrees in International History from Columbia University and the London School of Economics; a Master’s degree in Education from Pace University, and a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the University of Puget Sound.
In his spare time, he loves to practice yoga, play chess, and travel the world.
