After teaching with Teach For America in the South Bronx, Christophe co-founded Rise Academy, a high-performing Newark charter school featured in The Economist, ABC News, and other media outlets. Recently signed as a screenwriter by Management 360, a leading Hollywood talent agency, he is currently developing a scripted television series based on his inner city school experiences. As a consultant, he has developed writing curricula for several education companies and schools, coached students and teachers to write effectively, and served as acting Head of School for a small Manhattan private school, among numerous other projects. As a writing coach, Christophe has helped students create common application personal statements, and has also worked with applicants to develop business, medical, and law school admissions essays. He is passionate about helping students find their voice, tell their personal stories, and discover their innate abilities to write well.
He holds Master’s degrees in International History from Columbia University and the London School of Economics; a Master’s degree in Education from Pace University, and a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the University of Puget Sound.
