Born and raised in South Texas, Colin was set free to explore the garden that is New Jersey at 18. He wound up at Princeton University, where he graduated with honors in shapes, colors and feelings (Anthropology) and learned a lot of languages (French, Greek, Arabic, and Chinese), many of which he still tries to speak. He studied abroad in Egypt and China and once traveled overland from Athens to Beijing, studying the modern Silk Road for his senior thesis. He has lived in China for the past six years, working in education – both as a teacher and as an administrator. He is currently studying for his Numbers and Microsoft Excel degree at the University of Chicago (MBA).
Colin excels in supporting students’ profile development in their college and graduate school applications—from helping developing a target school list to supporting their narrative development. He has worked with numerous students at all stages of the application process—from high school to PhD. Academically, he’s into history, the social sciences, and cannot stop reading or writing (it’s a compulsion!).
Outside of school and working with students, Colin enjoys working out, walking around, chilling with his cat, and learning new languages (working on Farsi at present).
