Dan L.


Dan is from central Ohio, where the most notable thing about his hometown is a field of concrete corn statues. He graduated from Ohio State University with a 4.0 GPA and was named a 2021 Rhodes Scholar. Dan spent his summers doing research at the Broad Institute of Harvard and MIT. He is currently working on completing a Masters in Global Health Science and Epidemiology at Oxford. After his time at Oxford, Dan plans to return to the US to begin an MD-PhD program. 

Dan has been tutoring for 5 years. At Ohio State, Dan founded a nonprofit which provides tutoring services for underprivileged youth in central Ohio. Through his work with the nonprofit, Dan has tutored students of all ages and educational backgrounds. Dan’s core strengths include medicine, biology, and test preparation for the MCAT. He is also experienced in tutoring elementary, middle, and high school students.

Outside of class Dan enjoys running, lifting, rock climbing, and playing basketball poorly.
