Daniel G.


Daniel is originally from Los Angeles, California where he spent his childhood before moving to Denver, Colorado. After falling in love with the 300 days of sunshine, he stayed in Colorado to attend the University of Denver where he majored in International Studies with a concentration in health and development and minors in biology and chemistry. There, he was awarded the Pioneer Award, the highest honor awarded to undergraduate students completing their senior year at the University of Denver. At the University of Denver, Daniel served as the Coordinator for the College Access and Pipelines Program where he worked with students on personal statements, essays, and choosing schools. Following college, Daniel was a Research Lab Coordinator at the Family and Child Neurosocience Lab at the University of Devner. There, he supervised and mentored a group of 10 undergraduate research assistants, and supported them with their applications for graduate school. Currently, Daniel is at Harvard Medical School pursuing his MD.

In his free time, Daniel enjoys learning to play and sing popular songs on guitar and piano, watching Disney movies, dancing salsa and bachata, and exploring Boston.
