Originally from sunny Los Angeles, Daniel is an MBA Candidate at Columbia Business School in New York City. After graduating with honors from the University of Southern California with a degree in finance, Daniel worked for three years for a major financial valuation firm. Daniel then left to work in corporate strategy for an engineering company for two years before realizing he enjoyed the strategy work but missed the excitement of working for dynamic clients. He made the decision to attend Columbia, where he interned with and will be returning to a leading management consulting firm upon graduation.
Daniel has a wide variety of experience in tutoring. While living in Los Angeles he began a SAT tutoring program for high school athletes that successfully helped an average of five student-athletes per year to become college eligible. At Columbia, he has tutored and coached over 40 classmates through the case interview process in their pursuit of a consulting internship. Finally, Daniel has tutored multiple aspiring business school applicants to improve their GMAT scores ahead of their successful applications.
In his personal time, Daniel blogs for USC football fan sites and enjoys checking his weather app to complain about the biggest difference between LA and NYC.
