Dara Blume is originally from New Jersey - explaining her love of the Jersey Shore and Springsteen. However, she has not lived there since before her undergraduate degree, when she moved to Boston to attend Harvard University. At Harvard, she majored in economics with a minor in math and graduated magna cum laude. She is now pursuing her MBA at Columbia Business School, where she is a Feldberg Fellow. Before business school, she worked for seven years as a Vice President at Morgan Stanley, where she researched foreign currencies.
Dara has taught math to all levels at high school, and also has experience as a TA at Harvard's introductory calculus course. She has also taught economics to high school students, and tutored the SATs.
In her free time, Dara enjoys running, baking, and searching for NYC's best chocolate chip cookie.
