David is a second-year medical student at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. He grew up in Northern Virginia and studied Biology at James Madison University. David has tutored college-level sciences for four years and, after scoring a 523 on the MCAT, he has specialized in tutoring all four MCAT sections.
David firmly believes that every student can improve their MCAT score with a combination of targeted strategies and an individually tailored approach. He loves getting to know his students and working closely with them on achieving their goals. In particular, David enjoys helping his students tackle CARS; he himself scored a perfect 132 on CARS, and he tells students that this section is all about predicting questions and learning what matters in each passage.
David is currently attending medical school and works in a lab studying cancer metabolism. In his spare time, he likes to play pick-up basketball, walk in Central Park with friends, and cheer for the Washington Football Team.
