Elizabeth grew up in Taipei, Taiwan before moving to the US for college. She attended Wellesley College in Massachusetts, where she majored in Computer Science with a minor in Mathematics, graduating magna cum laude. She then spent 4 years working for Wayfair as a software engineer before pursuing a masters degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at MIT, and an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management.
At Wellesley, Elizabeth tutored courses in computer science (intro courses and algorithms) and mathematics (combinatorics and graph theory). She worked at Girls Who Code for their Summer Immersion Program, teaching 20 high school girls how to code in 8 weeks. In addition to Girls Who Code, Elizabeth helped teach a group of second graders in the town of Wellesley how to code using the block-based visual programming language Scratch. Besides coding, Elizabeth can also tutor Chinese (Mandarin).
In her spare time, Elizabeth enjoys playing tennis, exploring the neighborhood for new food spots, and watching TV shows.
