Emily was a Criminology major at the University of Pennsylvania. She graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa and is currently a medical student in New York City. In medical school, Emily has been highly involved in clinical research with multiple first-author papers in peer-reviewed medical journals and presentations at international conferences.
Emily has taught everything from swimming and Tae Kwon Do to SATs and essay writing. She worked at the University of Pennsylvania Tutoring Center as a private and small group biology tutor, privately tutored high school students in SAT and ACT prep, and coached students for graduate school applications (MD and Masters programs). As an EMT of six years, she has trained fellow EMTs in their continuing education, worked as a TA for medical school courses, and teaches clinical skills and reasoning to junior medical students at her school's student-run free clinic.
As an applications strategy coach with Cambridge Coaching, Emily has worked with many students on refining their program lists, planning and editing essays, and preparing for interviews. Emily's students have been accepted to many highly-ranked, competitive medical and master's programs, including University of Miami, Case Western Reserve, Boston University, and Mount Sinai.
In her spare time, Emily likes baking, biking, exploring, and DIY activities.
