Eriene grew up in New Jersey and attended Tufts University, where she was editor-in-chief of TuftScope, the Undergraduate Journal of Health, Ethics and Policy, taught health workshops around Boston as part of Peer Health Exchange, and caught the research bug carrying out organic chemistry research and eventually completing a senior thesis with Highest Honors. She graduated Summa cum laude with a BS Biochemistry and Applied Mathematics. She is currently a student in the Harvard-MIT MD/PhD Program, with an MD from Harvard-MIT Health Sciences and Technology (HST) Program.
Eriene gained extensive experience teaching and lesson planning in a variety of settings from public school classrooms, to college study groups, and individual one-on-one tutoring. Her strengths are in biology, chemistry, mathematics, and test preparation for the MCAT, SAT, and GRE.
When Eriene isn’t busy pipetting or searching PubMed, she enjoys knitting, crocheting, graphic design, and cooking and eating with friends.
