Erin Bartnett received her Masters in modern & contemporary literature from the University of Virginia, a certificate in publishing from NYU, and her Bachelors in English Literature with a concentration in Women's Literature from Rutgers University, summa cum laude, high honors. She has taught and supported writing programs for students from kindergarten up through college, and worked in publishing at a boutique literary agency specializing in literary fiction and narrative nonfiction here in New York.
Erin is now a professional writer, critic, and tutor living in Brooklyn. She is a staff writer for Electric Literature, and contributes to The Brooklyn Rail, and elsewhere. She specializes in teaching writing composition, the college essay, and literary analysis.
