Eunice was born in the nearby city of Seoul, Korea (only a 14-hour flight away!), but also identifies as a Texan, Canadian, a Jersey girl, and most recently, a New Yorker. She recently graduated from Princeton University with an A.B. in Molecular Biology, summa cum laude. She was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa and Sigma Xi honor societies, and also received the Shapiro Prize for Academic Excellence in her junior year. Currently, she is an M.D./Ph.D. candidate at Columbia University’s College of Physicians and Surgeons.
Eunice has an overwhelming enthusiasm for biology and loves sharing her passion for the sciences with others. She has tutored students of all ages in chemistry (including organic chemistry), biology, and math. She also has experience with test prep for the SATI/II and the MCAT. One day, she hopes to channel her passion for teaching and science in a career as a biology professor.
Outside biology, some of Eunice’s other interests include: running, playing and watching basketball, arts and crafts, photography, and everything and anything related to minions. The next time you catch her, ask her to draw a personalized minion for you! Check out some of her stuff at www.fulga-lab.org (she drew minions for the lab she used to work in at Oxford).
