Grace was born in Durham, NC but raised in Atlanta, GA. She attended Duke University and graduated with honors in 2016 with a double major in biology and global health. While at Duke, she was involved with pharmacology and cancer biology research and served as the president of the Asian Students Association. After graduating college, she attended the Harvard School of Dental Medicine and obtained her DMD degree in 2020. She has remained in Boston since graduating and is currently in residency.
In high school, Grace started an after-school club to teach elementary students basic Spanish vocabulary after foreign languages were no longer included in the standard curriculum. At Duke, she was a peer tutor for organic chemistry I and II. She has been a mentor for many pre-dental students and feels most comfortable with subjects including biology, chemistry and math. Grace has been tutoring with Cambridge Coaching for over 3 years and specializes in standardized test preparation in the SAT/ACT/DAT/PSAT. Her favorite aspect of tutoring is seeing the hard-earned successes of her students come to fruition.
Outside of her academic work, Grace enjoys picnics along the Esplanade and afternoons in a coffee shop.
