Haziq grew up in San Jose, California. He graduated from Johns Hopkins University in three years with a degree in molecular and cell biology (Phi Beta Kappa). After college, Haziq lived in Bilbao, Spain for one year as a Fulbright Scholar, where he conducted research on cholesterol disease. Haziq is currently pursuing an MD at Harvard Medical School.
Haziq has been tutoring for five years. During college, Haziq was a director of the Hopkins Jail Tutorial Project, an organization of 75 volunteers that tutors inmates in Baltimore prisons and jails. Haziq also taught chemistry and the MCAT to undergraduate students. Haziq's core strengths include biology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, MCAT, and the SAT.
In his spare time, Haziq enjoys reading, playing chess, traveling, and working out.
