Iulian B.


Iulian is originally from Romania and spent half his life in beautiful Barcelona, Spain. There, he received both his undergraduate and Master’s degrees in Computer Science at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, focusing on understanding how computers work. He interned with multiple labs including Barcelona Supercomputing Center for 4 years, the Computer Science department at University of Wisconsin-Madison for 3 months and ARM in Cambridge, UK for 3 months.  He is currently a PhD candidate in Computer Science at Harvard University.

Iulian has tutored across computer science, math, physics and mechanical engineering.  (He also taught an operating systems lab as a Master’s candidate.) He loves cultivating students’ interests in STEM subjects, and has worked with students to prepare for math olympiads.

Outside of work, Iulian likes to spend time with his family and friends, play board games, ping-pong or hike mountains such as Pica d’Estats!
