Jackie is a first-year medical student at NYU School of Medicine and hails from the sunny state of Florida. There, she earned her Bachelor’s degrees in neuroscience and English at the University of Miami, where she graduated magna cum laude and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. While in college, she worked in a variety of research labs on projects related to Alzheimer's, spinal cord injury, and behavioral psychology. She loves writing, literature, and great journalism, and she was the managing editor of her college newspaper.
Jackie has tutored since she was in high school. She has worked with students on content in school courses and standardized test preparation, and she has experience in private tutoring environments as well as after-school programs. In particular, she has worked successfully with many students on the SAT, writing, and the natural sciences.
In her free time, Jackie enjoys watching Jeopardy!, doing crossword puzzles, spending time with friends, and exploring the different neighborhoods and restaurants of New York City.
