Jackson grew up in Northern Kentucky, just outside Cincinnati, OH. He has two older sisters -- one a physician and one a speech pathologist -- so in some ways it was natural that he ended up in healthcare. He wasn’t always set on a career in medicine: at Boston College, he studied finance and biology, and was interested in a career in the biotech industry. After graduating summa cum laude as a Presidential Scholar in 2017, he began working in healthcare strategy consulting. While consulting, he came to realize his love of medicine, so he applied to medical school after two gap years. He is now at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania.
Jackson’s love of teaching stems back to a cell biology course TAed in undergrad. His focus is mainly on MCAT tutoring, but he also specializes in biology, chemistry, and math. At Cambridge Coaching, he has helped students of all ages in their academic coursework, and also deeply enjoys working with prospective medical students -- he’s excited to help them succeed on the MCAT and in the onerous medical school admissions process.
In his free time, you can find Jackson biking around Philly looking for coffee shops and new restaurants to try.
