Janice is originally from Dallas, Texas. She attended Southern Methodist University with a full-ride scholarship as an SMU President’s Scholar. She graduated with a B.S. with honors in Biological Sciences and minors in Biomedical Anthropology and Math. Although everything is bigger in Texas, Janice decided to head to the Northeast for the first time after graduating where she now attends Harvard Medical School.
Janice has tutored students of all ages and backgrounds in several capacities through various tutoring experiences as both an employee and volunteer. Her core strengths include the math & sciences (biology, chemistry, physics) along with test preparation for the MCAT and SAT. Janice hopes that with her various tutoring experiences, she can help students employ strategies that best fit their learning styles to help them succeed in their educational endeavors.
Outside of medical school, Janice enjoys playing the ukulele, learning how to hand letter, swimming, and can occasionally be motivated to run if the Boston weather is really, really nice.
