Jenna grew up outside of Philadelphia, spending most of her childhood with her fingers glued to a fantasy novel or a video game controller. She attended Tufts University, where she majored in English and fostered a passion for fantasies written in the middle ages. At Tufts, she graduated summa cum laude and received the English Department Award. She was also awarded the highest honors for her senior thesis on Chaucer and his classical influences. She decided to keep reading more medieval fantasy, and she is now a PhD student of medieval English literature at Columbia.

Jenna worked as a writing tutor throughout her undergraduate degree at Tufts. She also served as a teaching assistant at Columbia and will teach her own writing course in the fall. Her tutoring specialties include writing and admissions coaching. Jenna loves to help students effectively communicate their ideas and successfully realize their goals.\

When she isn’t reading medieval literature, Jenna enjoys discussing American and Westerosi politics and playing board games with friends.
