Jenna is originally from a small town of Ohio. After graduating from a high school class just short of 300 students, she enrolled at Ohio State University, one of the nation’s largest universities with TBDBITL (the best damn band in the land)! She spent her undergrad years studying biology and graduated Summa Cum Laude. After OSU, she headed to Harvard School of Dental Medicine, where she completed her first year entirely in the medical school curriculum and now is a 2nd year beginning her DMD candidacy. Jenna is presently involved in creating videos for My Dental Key, a dental educational resource for all dental students.
Jenna has always been interested in academia. She spent two summers in China teaching an English class and an ultimate frisbee class to students in grades K-12. She also spent two years as an anatomy course teaching assistant at OSU, instructing students about anatomical structures in both the wet and dry lab. Jenna loves to teach and finds it extremely rewarding to help people understand concepts in an engaging and creative way. Her core strengths include biology, test preparation for the DAT, and dental school admissions coaching.
Outside of academics, Jenna loves all outdoor activities including ultimate frisbee, hiking, camping, biking, and discovering scrumptious and innovative dinners to cook over a bonfire!
