Jonathan is a marketing and brand consultant currently based out of New York City. A Southerner by birth, Jonathan spent 18 years in North Carolina before matriculating as a dual-degree scholar at The Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania, where he graduated with a 3.8/4.0 GPA. A curious student, Jonathan studied a wide variety of courses during his time in college, everything from finance and statistics to Spanish and jazz. His studies culminated in two degrees (BS in Economics and BA in International Studies), a minor in Hispanic Studies, and a published paper on Moral Decoupling.
Jonathan discovered his passion for teaching during his college years, serving as head teacher for the Financial Literacy Community Project, a program that sends teams of college students to West Philadelphia to teach children the importance of topics such as saving, credit cards, and loans. In addition to standardized tests such as the GMAT and SAT, Jonathan is comfortable in topics such as finance, statistics, marketing & strategy, Spanish, and music theory.
Outside of work and tutoring, Jonathan enjoys a variety of activities, ranging from the somewhat typical (e.g., music, swimming and running), to the very much atypical/esoteric (e.g., reading modern philosophy and watching YouTube videos on math puzzles).
