Jonathan W.

Jonathan spent the first 18 years of his life in NYC before making the daunting and unexpected journey to Boston, attending Tufts University. While in college, Jonathan double majored in Political Science and Economics, sat on the executive board of his fraternity and served as president of J Street U Tufts. He was the recipient of the Gemma Cifarelli Memorial Scholarship, a member of Pi Sigma Alpha and graduated magna cum laude in both majors.

After graduation, Jonathan took his passion for politics and advocacy to the realm of education policy. He worked on the organizing team of an education nonprofit in Boston before moving back to New York to work on the advocacy team at Success Academy Charter Schools.

Currently, Jonathan is pursuing his M.P.A. at Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA), concentrating on Urban and Social Policy.  He has experience tutoring students from a wide array of backgrounds and ages.  At Cambridge Coaching, he specializes in SAT preparation and economics academic tutoring.

Jonathan has a lighter side too. He enjoys all things comedy, and even has "perform stand-up routine" on his bucket list. On Sundays, you can find him watching football on every screen he owns, while simultaneously checking in on his fantasy team.
