Jonathan was born in Ontario, but moved to Miami, Florida when he was just one-year-old. He attended the University of Florida where he majored in health science and graduated summa cum laude. Fascinated by the sciences and teeth, Jonathan decided to pursue a career in dentistry and is a current student at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine.
Jonathan has had extensive tutoring and teaching experience. During his time at UF, he served as a teaching assistant for organic chemistry 1 and 2, learning assistant for biology 2, and supplemental instruction leader for biology 2. His various positions have allowed him to view the course material from different perspectives and tailor the material to better suit each student’s need. His passion for education prompted him to create supplemental worksheets, host exam reviews, and produce concept videos for the university. Jonathan was also active in his community serving as the member vice president in the pre-health honor society, Alpha Epsilon Delta. During his term, the organization collectively raised $30,000 towards local philanthropies and donated over 3,000 hours of community service to the greater Gainesville community.
When he is not busy with school, Jonathan enjoys playing the piano, working out, spending time with friends, and reading.
