“Josef has been very supportive, especially during my toughest economics courses. He understands the needs of a college student and goes above and beyond the call of duty. I highly recommend working with Josef as well as the rest of the staff at Cambridge Coaching.”
John, Economics Student at NYU -
“Josef was extremely helpful. He worked through conomics practice problems with me and challenged me to think outside of the box. He provided thoughtful answers to all of my questions and helped me develop strong test-taking strategies. I felt much more confident going into my exam after working with Josef.”
Economics Student at Harvard -
“Josef was great. He helped me through an Intro to Economics class, and I was in a hole when I started working with him. Rather than narrowly focusing on the correct answers to homework problems, Josef helped me understand how to think about the concepts behind the problems so I understood why each answer was correct. He enabled me to become an independent problem solver. He taught me how to develop strong study habits so I was better prepared for classes, homework, quizzes, and tests. He is also just a really nice guy. I plan to work with him again.”
Raised Economics course grade to a B+.
Economics Student -
“Josef was extremely helpful in my first-year college economics course. He listened to my concerns, explained concepts professionally, and used real-life examples to illustrate topics I was learning in class. He was very flexible with scheduling sessions during the week and helped me with material in other subjects when I needed it. Before meeting with Josef, I did poorly on a midterm. Several weeks after training with Josef, I improved my grade dramatically. I highly recommend him to any high-level college or high school student.”
Improved course grade.

“Josef was a friendly tutor who was good at explaining economics concepts. I was going through Harvard Business School's Economic Module and I needed a tutor to clear my doubts and help me gain momentum. Josef was good at both of these things and helped me adequately prepare for the test.”
Jay Desai, Economics Student at HBS Online & University of Oxford -
“Josef was always willing to answer my questions, no matter how scattered they were. He didn't just give me the answers but tried to help me think critically. We went through practice problems very efficiently and Josef always answered questions concisely and in a way that was easy to follow.”
Caroline, Economics Student at Harvard -
“Our son had the privilege of working with Josef for help with micro and macroeconomics during his senior year of high school. Josef and my son hit it off immediately, which was so important during the critical college application season. Josef not only helped our son raise his grade substantially in a short amount of time, but he also inspired our son to fall in love with the subject. Josef is passionate about the subjects he tutors, and his work ethic is unmatched. He cares deeply about comprehension, and makes sure the student understands the material before he moves forward. His communication was flawless. Our son did well in the class, and got into his first-choice school. Josef navigated our son through a stressful time with ease. We cannot recommend him more highly.”
