Kamile (pronounced “Camilla”) was born in Lithuania and lived in New Jersey from ages seven to eighteen. After 11 years in New Jersey, she moved away from the beautiful Jersey Shore to attend Wellesley College. She graduated with honors in physics, was nominated to the Sigma Xi Scientific Research Honor Society, and was named a Trustee Scholar. After Wellesley, she decided to return to Europe to pursue her Master’s in Physics and Astronomy at the University of Amsterdam. She conducts gravitational wave astrophysics research.
Kamile worked in various tutoring and teaching roles throughout her time at Wellesley College. Kamile also worked as a physics supplemental instructor for introductory electromagnetism. Her core strengths include physics, mathematics, and test preparation for the SAT and ACT. Kamile delights in helping students achieve their goals.
In her spare time, Kamile enjoys photography, astro and otherwise, running, and trying to learn German.
