Keizra was born in Vancouver but spent most of her childhood in Sacramento, CA (which you probably know only from 1) memorizing state capitals and 2) Ladybird, the movie). She moved across the country to Durham, NC where she attended Duke University for undergrad and specialized in eating southern comfort food. At Duke, she majored in Biology with a focus on Genome Sciences and Policy. Outside of class, she was involved in Student Government (serving as the President of Duke Student Government her senior year!), the Duke Debate Team, and various classic pre-med activities. She graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa with a 3.98/4.00 GPA. Excited to experience other opportunities before committing to medical school, Keizra spent two years after graduation as a management consultant at Bain & Company in Washington, D.C. Keizra is currently pursuing an M.D. degree at Harvard Medical School, and looking forward to the opportunity to combine her love for business and clinical medicine in her future!
During her time at Bain, Keizra was very involved in helping applicants prepare for their consulting case interviews. She enjoyed helping them not only learn the mechanics of the case, but also how best to bond with interviewers, structure their answers, and communicate in a personable and convincing way. She also assisted many of her peers as they prepared for the MCAT and put together their medical school applications. In particular, she likes to help students learn both the material on the test and test-taking strategies to optimize their score regardless of what the test throws at them. She is passionate about your success, and always willing to take feedback and try new ways to help you understand the material and help you achieve your goals. Keizra is excited to help students with the MCAT (524/528), GMAT (760/800), and SAT (1580/1600).
In her spare time, Keizra loves to watch comedies, do crosswords, and be funny (or so she thinks!).
