Lina grew up in California and earned her BS in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and minored in Physics at the University of California, Santa Cruz. Her love of science led her to obtain a PhD in Chemistry at Princeton University. She is currently continuing her education in medicine at Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons.
Lina’s tutoring specialties include STEM subjects and the MCAT. She has extensive teaching experience both as a tutor as well as a teaching assistant at Princeton. Though she loves working with all students, she finds longitudinal relationships most rewarding, as she can ascertain how a student learns and customize her teaching to fit their individual needs. Whether in front of a classroom or in 1:1 tutoring, she finds deep joy in helping her students reach their academic and professional goals.
In her free time, Lina enjoys hiking, ice skating, and knitting.
