Mackenzie C.


Mackenzie currently resides in New York City and holds a Bachelor of Science from Cornell University in operations research and information engineering, as well as a Dyson Business minor for engineers. After Cornell, she set her sights on business school, and is currently an MBA candidate at Columbia (CBS). She is focusing on technology and innovation with the goal of applying her passion to the education technology sector upon graduation.

Prior to CBS, Mackenzie was a Vice President in the Balance Sheet Analysis and Strategy (BSAS) group at Sandler O’Neill + Partners, L.P., where she worked with financial institutions in the areas of balance sheet management, asset liability management, and strategic business planning.  When Mackenzie joined the firm in 2014, she worked in Sandler O’Neill’s Fixed Income Analytics Group, where she advised financial institutions on their investment portfolios. Mackenzie has a wealth of academic and professional experiences, and deeply enjoys advising applicants on ways to bolster their own resumes. At Cambridge Coaching, she specializes in MBA admissions coaching -- she is incredibly hands-on when advising prospective MBAs on the process of applying to business school.

Outside of the classroom, Mackenzie is an avid runner, skier, traveler, and cheerleader.  She is passionate about curating others’ interests in STEM topics through volunteering at a local school and mentoring high school students.
