Maggie is originally from outside New York City and loves to return home to visit her big family and bigger Maine coon cats! She attended Boston College on a full tuition merit scholarship and graduated with a BS in Biology and minor in History. After undergrad, Maggie traveled across the pond to study archaeological science at Durham University, UK. Returning home, Maggie spent a few years working as a Research Associate at a biotech/pharmaceutical company, studying newly-discovered protein variants and how they function in the context of disease. She is currently a medical student at Columbia University.
Maggie has been tutoring and substitute teaching for several years. When a teacher suddenly left during the middle of the school year, Maggie stepped in to teach AP Biology at a local high school. At Cambridge Coaching, her core subjects include biology, chemistry, history, the SAT, and the MCAT. Maggie really enjoys working with students and keeping in touch to hear about their latest and greatest achievements.
Outside of her studies, Maggie is an avid cook and baker – force-feeding anyone who enters her apartment - and dedicated plant mom.
