Matt is a recent graduate of Harvard Law School, where he served on the Board of Student Advisers and, being one of the rare law students with a serious interest in science, as president of the Student Association for Law and Mind Sciences. Before that, he majored in Geology at Amherst College, graduating magna cum laude. He spent a couple years as a tax attorney at a prominent corporate law firm in New York before taking up the pursuit of his passion for painting.
Matt loves tutoring and mentoring, and he has done so for students in high school, college, and law school. His specialties include high school classes in history, English and science, as well as pre-law and law school coursework, and test prep tutoring for the SAT and LSAT.
Matt generally fills his free time reading, either novels or nonfiction books and articles, but he also enjoys drawing and doing crosswords. A couple of his letters to the editor have recently been published in the New Yorker magazine.
