Matty is a graduate of Harvard Law School, where he assisted 1Ls on their legal research and writing and served as president of the Student Association for Law and Mind Sciences. Before that, he majored in Geology at Amherst College, graduating magna cum laude. He spent a couple years as a tax attorney at a prominent corporate law firm in New York before taking up the pursuit of his passion for painting.
Matty loves tutoring and mentoring, and he has worked with students in high school, college, and law school. His specialties include high school classes in math and science, pre-law and law school coursework, and test prep tutoring for the SAT and LSAT.
Matty generally fills his free time reading, either novels or nonfiction books and articles, but he also enjoys drawing, doing crosswords, and playing music. A couple of his letters to the editor have recently been published in the New Yorker magazine.
